hi. thanks for visiting my website!

i am currently a blockchain researcher at the Ethereum Foundation; my current foci are:
(~) MEV and the Ethereum block building process: proposer-builder separation, censorship resistance, relays. (see MEV writing.)
(~) Ethereum Proof-of-Stake: issuance, liquid staking, consensus. (see PoS writing.)

prior to joining the EF:
(~) [2021-2023] software engineer at google (mostly in Cambridge, MA).
(~) [2020-2021] master's in computational science at harvard.
(~) [2015-2020] bachelor's in computer science and math at university of colorado.

i have had the great fortune of receiving academic mentorship from David C. Parkes while at harvard and from Liz Bradley & Mike Mozer while at colorado. additionally, my formative academic years were shaped by collaborations with Dan Moroz, Josh Garland, & Tyler Jones.

below is an aggregation of projects, reading lists, and other miscellanea.
